What an OutPersonals Membership Includes
With 1.5 million members, OutPersonals is definitely one of the larger gay dating sites. Yet when I performed a search at OutPersonals, I ended up with the exact same profiles as I did searching for gay men at Adult Friend Finder and Gay Friend Finder, which makes sense since all three of these sites belong to the Friend Finder Network (which was purchased by Penthouse in late 2007).
A free membership is available, which includes creating a profile, adding a photo, very basic search options, the ability to add users to a hot list and access to some (but not all) of the chat rooms. There is no time limit on the free membership, although users will be reminded of the paid membership on a regular basis while surfing OutPersonals.
There are two different levels of paid membership: Silver and Gold. Silver memberships include everything that free members receive, plus the ability to view and contact all users and better search options. Gold members receive the same benefits as Silver members, plus they get their profiles listed at the top of all search results, exclusive access to new members for the first three days of sign up, even stronger and more versatile search options, and a matchmaking system with email reports on a weekly basis of the members with whom you are compatible.
Unique Features of OutPersonals
OutPersonals, like all of the sites in the FriendFinder network, have a large list of features that can be confusing for new members if only because of their sheer numbers. Chat rooms, user groups, video chat, a relationship magazine, audio & video introductions, flirts/winks, online store, erotic photo galleries and finally blogs round out the complete list of things to check out.
Additionally, OutPersonals also has one of the most versatile search functions of all the dating sites. Users can search by keyword, who's online, most popular male, new members, who has viewed you, geographic distance, postal code, city, as well as any section of the profile (i.e. demographics, likes and dislikes).
OutPersonals Membership Costs
OutPersonals offers free memberships with limited access (see above for details). Silver memberships cost $33.96 USD for three months, or 12 months for $89.96. Gold memberships cost $49.96 for three months or $119.96 for a year.
